Hotel Daiheigen, Otofuke

The meals were buffet-style, offering a great variety of seafood, meat, and vegetable options. I particularly enjoyed the steak, tempura, and curry rice, which were exclusive to dinner. Breakfast was a good experience as well, with traditional Japanese dishes like tamago kake gohan, which left me very satisfied.

The onsen here has a unique water quality derived from plants that made my skin feel incredibly smooth and silky. The outdoor onsen, surrounded by beautiful snow-capped trees, was such a relaxing experience. I thoroughly enjoyed the soothing ambiance and the opportunity to unwind after a long day.

The tatami rooms were warm and inviting, providing a cozy atmosphere during my stay. The amenities like kimono, slippers, and traditional green tea offered in beautiful lacquer ware added a special touch to the experience. It felt great to sleep on the plush futons laid out for us

The public bathroom was spacious and had different areas for soaking, including a nice waterjet bath that was very refreshing. The available grooming and washing supplies were plentiful, making the experience even more enjoyable. It was a great way to relax after a long day of exploring.
